PCM S.D. College for Women Celebrates National Library Week The Library Advisory Committee of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, celebrated National Library Week from November 14 to 20, 2024, on the theme "Wake Up and Read". This annual observance, initiated by the Indian Library Association in 1968, highlights the vital role of libraries, librarians, and library workers in transforming lives and strengthening communities. The event aimed to promote reading habits among students and teachers, encourage library usage, and showcase the evolving significance of libraries in the digital age. The college librarian, Ms. Sonia, addressed the gathering and shared the history and importance of National Library Week.
