Ranganathan, the father of library science in India. The event aimed to highlight the significance of libraries in education and society. The college librarian, Ms. Sonia, addressed the students, sharing the history behind National Librarian Day and emphasizing the importance of libraries in shaping lives.  PCM S.D College for Women organizes  Successful Book Review Event to Promote Reading Skills The Advisory Committee of PCM S.D College for Women,  Jalandhar  organized a stimulating  Book Review event aimed at cultivating the reading skills of its students. The event, which drew enthusiastic participation from students across different streams, underscored the paramount importance of reading, particularly in the realm of stories and novels.
